Jeisa’s fans from The Fashion Spot are sending in their questions for our favorite model. Here’s the first batch of Jeisa’s replies:

1. Why did you stop doing runway shows like you used to?
Runway, it’s fun! But models don’t make as much money out of it, and I’m having other jobs in the same dates as the shows I’ve been doing for a long period of time. Maybe I’ll do again soon, and for designer friends that I really like. We never know. :-)

2. Any Sports Illustrated or Victoria secret campaigns on the way?
I haven’t done sports illustrated this year, they think I’m too thin, but I did lots of VS jobs.

3. Do you visit your thread at TFS?
I go a lot to fashion spot. I love that u guys have all my work – it’s just great! It’s good to know that I have people that enjoy my job :-) And sometimes you guys know more of the things that come out than my agency and [you] help them keep things updated. I check more and less every two days.

4. What’s coming up next for you in work and life?
I’m still working a lot but doing different things. Right now I’m shooting the Tommy Hilfiger Jeans campaign. You’re still going to see lots of me :-) I won’t leave you guys alone too soon :-)

5. How is kyta doing? :D Is she a gift from someone?
Kyta is doing great! Thank you for asking!!! She’s the love of my life!!! I might get another shiba inu soon, a black male to keep her company. Oliver and I got Kyta last year right after Halloween, because Oliver travels a lot so she keep me company. She was the best thing I ever got for myself. She makes me very happy :-) I’m a proud Mamma.

6. What’s keeping you busy right now?
Work of course :-) Kyta, my new house in Tribeca, my new gym witch I love, and my love Oliver :-)

Happy birthday to our favorite girl, Jeisa Chiminazzo. According to Glamurama, Alessandra Ambrosio and Jeisa will be throwing a joint birthday party in Ale’s home in Los Angeles. They will be joined by their Brazilian friends Adriana Lima, Fernanda Motta, Roger Rodrigues, Matheus Mazzafera and Ana Beatriz Barros, as well as American models Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes.

SUMMER 2009 – Jeisa Chiminazzo just reached ten years of her career. This beautiful one started working in the fashion business when she was only 13 years and now lives in NY. She has an extensive resume of fashion shows, editorials and catalogues to prove how powerful she has become in the Fashion Planet. Living in NY for nine years, she gave way to be a part of the SPFW parade for Animale.

Among her most recent works are the ones for K of Karl Lagerfeld (who’s a perpetual fan of the model), Gap and Victoria’s Secret. At the backstage of Animale, Jeisa speaks about being on top, memorable moments of her career, being a model, her vacations, her day-to-day activities and more…

Q&A with Jeisa Chiminazzo

SITE EP – What are the most memorable moments of your ten years in the fashion industry?
JEISA – The Morumbi Fashion was very special. The first parade for Lagerfeld also. However, all are very special, all are worth remembering!

SITE EP – Which is the most unusual place where you’ve worked?
JEISA – The Oasis of SiuÃ¡, in Egypt, for the campaign of the H&M. It was very beautiful, inside one of the military reserves, very pretty!

SITE EP – What do you do during your free hours?
JEISA – I play tennis, I go to the cinema, I go to the house of my friends in Long Island and New Jerseyâ€¦ I have a lot of friends I could visit.

SITE EP – Who are they? Are they also from the fashion industry?
JEISA – Ah, well they are varied! Ana Beatriz Barros, shee is a close friend mine. Gilmar is also a close friend in NYâ€¦

SITE EP – Do you have a routine to keep your form?
JEISA – Regularly, five times a week. I have personal trainer, I take pilates and play a game of tennis whenever I can. I play more when I don’t have too much work to do.

SITE EP – Do you already think about the future?
JEISA – Not yet. I only think about my vacationsâ€¦

SITE EP – Where do you go?
JEISA – I have a short vacation on the 15th of July. I’ll have two weeks on a cruise with my boyfriend. We’ll be going to Greece, the south of France, Turkey and CroÃ¡tia.

SITE EP – What do you plan to do when you end your modeling career?
JEISA - I always wanted to take architecture, but also I want to have a family and have a lot of children!

SITE EP – What advice could you give to other girls who are starting their modeling career?
JEISA – You have to keep your feet on the ground and to trust yourself. The work could be half tricky, therefore you have to learn how to keep the doors open.
