Of course it didn’t take long for i-D’s stunning beauty editorial “Skin Graffiti” to inspire other people. Check out Susie Bubble’s try:

So I got a little carried away after seeing this ‘Skin Graffiti’ editorial in the new issue of i-D. […] I don’t know whether they used stencils or they retouched the swirls to make them perfect but it’s damn hard to recreate. I got a bit Bourjois black felt-tip liner happy when I saw this photograph and so I started doodling on my face too. Except it went a bit wrong because a) my hand was shaking, b) I couldn’t apply the right amount of pressure on the pen to get the perfect strokes. All in all………I won’t be attempting this for a long time because it’s also a bitch to wipe off.

I also lack that freckled sun-kissed look that Jeisa has so I ended up looking like a demented goth gone wrong. Ah well……experimentation is the name of the game.

We still haven’t gotten hold of larger copies of Jeisa’s Forum campaign. Anyway, here’s another clearer copy of one of her ads from Blog do Renato:

I’ve been trying to find photos of Jeisa at last Thursday’s Pirelli Calendar event at Guggenheim. According to Fashion Week Daily:

The Guggenheim museum will be commandeered by supermodels this Thursday, as Adriana Lima, Marija Vujovic, Jeisa Chiminazzo, Liya Kebede, Michelle Alves, and Hilary Rhoda are expected to be on hand to celebrate the 2006 Pirelli calendar, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. That evening, Pirelli will also launch its new book, The Cal Backstage, 1964-2005, a coffee table book that takes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the infamous calendar.

 DerekHail.com seemed to confirm (or copy-paste?) Jeisa’s presence at the event:

Maya found another interesting set of photos taken from Liya Kebede’s 24th birthday. The party was held at Paris’ hautespot Black Calvados, the brand-new bôite that served as fashion’s after-hours clubhouse during the PFW season earlier this year. Other guests aside from Jeisa are Diana Dondoe, Angela Lindvall, Lisa Cant, and Viktoria Sekrier.

Here is the May Andersen video from Mateo de Acosta of Useless Things. He says:

I looked for the old clip of model May Andersen being snobby with Jeisa Chiminazzo, and I found one! There were two of them, if I remember correctly, and this is the nicer of the two.

Ohmy. I remmebr seeing that clip ages ago. Jeisa - so unspoilt, natural and angelic and May, such a rotten rotten egg. I mean, well, that clip comes from a rather lengthy video and May is just soooo high - in a nasty nasty way - and keeps faking this Italian accept. Bizarroland. I think at one point she carries a bag with at least 100 grams of white powder. At the gym, or spa or something.

How true. At 18. Jeisa seemed so sweet and so natural. Check out the video!
